5504 Preparing for Parenting

Prerequisite: Sophomore, Junior, Senior

The student in Preparation for Parenthood will demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following areas; factors affecting the decision to parent, parenting in various family structures, sexual responsibility, pregnancy, analyze the multiple roles of parents, child care options, completes a supervised career-connections experience applying knowledge and skills developed in the study of parenting.
