5845 Media Technology II

Prerequisite: Media Technology I

In the final tier of the filmmaking production track students will fine tune their skills and be expected to produce more complex and more technically advanced projects. Students will be encouraged to submit their work to film festivals and to apply for internships in media production. Through guest speakers and field trips student will be exposed to the professional media world. With emphasis on team work and group participation students will write, produce and edit a variety of ambitious and creative projects in different genres.

Media Technology II is a double-block course. It is Tech Prep articulated course. College credit-in-escrow/advanced measure is offered for this course with ACC. Student may elect to have this course substitute for one credit in P.E.
