Mrs. Windolph has been teaching the Engineering Academy courses at McNeil High School since 2002. She attended the University of California at Davis and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in German in December 1988. Prior to graduation Mrs. Windolph participated in the University of California’s Study Abroad program and spent one year in Goettingen, West Germany studying chemistry and physics.
After graduation she and her husband moved from Davis, California to Austin to begin her career at IBM. She spent more than 13 years working here in the local electronics industry, mainly in printed circuit board manufacturing. During that time she held positions as a Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, Quality Engineering Manager, Analytical Lab Manager, and Failure Analysis Supervisor and worked for IBM, Multek (a Flextronics company), SCI and Sanmina.
She is married and she and her family currently live in Round Rock.
Mrs. Windolph coaches the McNeil JETS (Junior Engineering Technical Society) teams and her students participate in the West Point Bridge Design Contest each year.
