5744 Introduction to Information Technology (IIT)

Prerequisite: Ability to use office-level word processing software to create and edit documents

This course will integrate the basic concepts and skills related to microcomputer systems and an introduction to eight high-tech career pathways. These pathways will include hardware technical support, network design and administration, database development, and administration, programming, technical writing, web development and administration, digital media and enterprise systems analysis and integration.

Note: This course meets the Technology Applications requirement.
