2. Successful completion of Health Science Technology I or teacher approval
3. Final enrollment via application process

Health Science Technology II is designed to provide for the development of multi-occupational knowledge and skills related to a wide variety of health careers. Students will have hands-on experiences for continued knowledge and skill development. The fall semester is devoted to fulfilling the Texas certification requirements for Nurse Aides. The spring semester involves clinical rotations at a major medical center. This class is a double block class. Healthcare Provider CPR certification is provided. Also allows for 1 credit P.E. waiver.

General Requirements:

This course is for students in Grades 11 who have successfully completed Health Science Technology I, Biology, and Chemistry. Students will be selected for this class through a formal application process.
