58701 Engineering Design and Development

Prerequisite: Principles of Engineering and Senior status

Students will work individually or in teams to design and construct the solution to an engineering problem of their choice. The problem will involve a wide range of engineering applications. Students will maintain a journal as part of a portfolio of their work. Each team will be responsible for delivering progress reports and making final presentations of their project for an outside review panel. (This is the Project Lead the Way senior capstone course.)
