College Credit

Credit-in-Escrow: Round Rock ISD and Texas State Technical College have articulation agreements in place for these courses: Media Technology I & II, Photojournalism,  .  Students can earn “credit-in-escrow” for these courses. This means that if a student takes one of these courses in high school and makes an overall grade of 80 or above, his/her name will be submitted to TSTC to claim future TSTC college credit for these courses.

Students must pay for and successfully complete at least one three-hour course at TSTC before “credits-in-escrow” will be applied to their college transcript. The student should notify the TSTC counselor when ready to claim credit for high school courses. Course credit must be claimed within 24 months of graduation from high school.
